Sr. Account Executive/Outside Sales/Business Development:

Regional company with over 50 years in the industry is looking for an outside sales representative to market compressors, blowers, pumps and other industrial equipment and engineered packages.

The manufacturers, which we represent, provide the equipment and support that's the absolute best available in the marketplace today. We match these quality products with engineering, design expertise, installation experience and quality service.

Our firm is looking for an aggressive take-charge closer to expand market share and increase sales in NE Ohio.

Specific functional responsibilities include:

1. Responsible for marketing all company products and services.
2. Developing business relationships. This job will require a high level of activity.
3. Create quotes and close business.
4. The candidate must have the ability to look at the industry, markets and products strategically.
5. The candidate must also possess organizational “savvy” to work independently, but also in conjunction with staff members at all levels in other operating departments including engineering, purchasing, and service.
6. Bright, high-energy with results/bottom-line focus.
7. Straightforward communicator; high degree of integrity. Must display this to both customers and fellow staff members alike.

Production Manager:

Dearing Compressor & Pump Co. is a rapidly growing compressor & pump packager for a variety of industrial applications and the natural gas industry. Our packages are built to customer specifications in-house at our modern shop in Boardman, OH.

Dearing is located in Eastern Ohio, an ideal location to service customers in the Marcellus Shale and Utica Shale regions. We are seeking a Production Manager, who will have full-charge responsibility for the production process, including planning, coordination, scheduling and delivery of units on-time and within specifications and budget. Management experience in a job shop and/or manufacturing environment is required. Welding background is a plus. Position reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

• Directs and manages plant production activity (processes, people and systems)
• Sets priorities and coordinates activities to meet customer requirements
• Plans and adjusts plant layout to optimize use of space and process flow
• Identifies continuous improvement opportunities and promotes a continuous improvement mentality
• Analyzes manufacturing processes and anticipates issues and solves problems to improve efficiencies and meet the schedule
• Promotes team building and maintains a team environment
• Ensures that safe work conditions and safe work practices are followed, and create a positive safety culture in the shop
• Creates a positive, cooperative, customer-focused work environment

Requirements:

• Management background with 10 or more years in a larger job-shop and/or manufacturing environment
• Engineering degree preferred
• Welding background a plus
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing technologies (processes and symptoms)
• Proven "hands-on" leadership and team building skills
• Ability to manage in a high-growth environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a positive outlook under pressure
• Ability to adapt to change and be flexible, while managing multiple priorities
• Sound planning, project management and problem-solving skills
